Mechanical filtration

The main reason for Mechanical-filtration is to remove suspended organic particles from the water before they begin to decompose and produce harmful chemicals to the fish. Removing these solids is somewhat difficult, and requires a number of different methods and stages to be succesful, and not require weekly or even daliy maintenance to prevent clogging.
